Piper L4B Cub

Sold

Excellent syndicate aircraft and affordable to operate !

This Piper Cub but is an L4B built in 1943 and seconded by the US Army to the French army being used as an artillery spotter.
It was restored 1989-1991 and had a 12 US gall fuel tank in stbd wing fitted plus standard front tank. Disc brake conversion fitted approx. 2015. All fabric stripped in 2012/13 metalwork treated, new Ceconite and painted in Free French 1944 colours and coded XC.

The Permit check is virtually complete, no major issues found.

This is a great little aircraft to enter into the Warbird fraternity with and gives a pilot excellent ‘Stick & Rudder’ training and tailwheel handling skills.
