This stunning P51D will be fitted with two seats and dual controls. It is being completed to an exceptionally high standard and is available for purchase immediately with delivery in approximately 12 months.
It has been assigned registration number N3024T and serial number A68-603.

Built in the Dallas factory, Texas, and released into service on May 16, 1945, as a P-51D-20-NT with construction number 111-36153 and issued with USAAF serial number 44-12870, it was delivered in flyaway status and flown to Oakland Municipal Airport, CA. Then, it was shipped to Australia on April 18, 1945, received on May 24, 1945, and allocated serial number A68-603. The Mustang was stored at RAAF Parkes in May 1946, flown to RAAF Deniliquin in September 1946, and joined 87 Squadron. In November 1948, it was sent to CMU Tocumwal and put up for disposal (fuselage only).

Sold on February 23, 1953, to Robert Eastgate with only 23.5 total flight hours, the Mustang returned to the USA in 2005 when sold to D J Wisler. Acquired by Brent Meester of Odegaard Wings in 2007, it was later sold to its current owner in 2009.

The fuselage has been completely rebuilt and is being outfitted. New wings will soon be delivered from Odegaard Wings, and a freshly overhauled Packard-built Rolls-Royce Merlin engine is due soon.
